Getting snow in December was definitely a surprise. Getting another round of snow only two weeks later had us questioning the crazy NC weather.
The snow actually profited Jordan financially when a neighbor hired him to shovel his driveway.
Here's Courtney out again the next day. (Yes, she's licking a giant piece of ice.) It snowed most of the day Monday then turned to rain that evening. Unfortunately, because it was still so cold, everything was a solid sheet of ice by the next day. The yards looked like frozen ponds. Jordan tossed a rock at one end of the backyard, and it slid all the way across to the other side. It was very weird.
The kids ended up being out of school three days with a delayed start the fourth day. Hopefully they enjoyed it because they lost a January holiday and their only two days off in February!

Wish we had snow days like that. My kids get to watch the snow fall outside as they are in school working on math. How fun for them, huh?!
Glad Alyssa got to enjoy it this time. And it's always a plus when school is canceled AND you make money. Jordan's contribution to the neighborhood makes me smile!
Yay for snow! Here instead of cancelling school days off, they tack more school days on at the end of the year! Courtney looks just like you, love the mini snowman, and how'd she keep her tongue from sticking anyway? Jordan is hilarious!
