Marathon Dad

Jason started off the year running to lose weight for a Biggest Loser contest at work.  After dropping 35 pounds and winning the competition, he set his sights on running his first half marathon.  Jason and Ben decided to run it together, so after training for the past few months, our two families headed to Kiawah Island (near Charleston, SC) for the big race.

Notice how Jason and Ben's BYU/Univ. of Utah rivalry comes out even in their choice of running clothes?
Jason using our children to help with his pre-race stretching

He had actually been sick the entire week, so he was pretty happy with his 2:15 time.

He's already looking at his next race...
